Yellowstone National Park is many things. Huge is certainly one of them. This painting is from the view along part of the Grand Loop but South of the Grand Canyon of The Yellowstone. It has a vast beauty with distant mountain ranges that many find captivating. These "flats" are an area that bison often roam. It was my good fortune, at the Austin (Texas) Studio Tour, to have a visitor recognize it immediately. Yes, I like to sell my art. (Often I feel a bit of regret when a loved piece goes to a new home.) It delights me, however, to have a buyer be as excited about their new painting as I am.
