The "other" large part of Acadia National Park is the Schoodic Peninsula. (Fewer people visit.) Acadia is uniquely made up of several areas and islands with some communities as parts of the landscape. This little study was painted on a late August morning along a rocky path at low tide. The view is classic Maine--Mark's Island Light.
