Oil, Panel. Night falling in an area with truly dark skies is enchanting. That's one reason we love spending time in "dark sky" parts of the country. This is a view from the edge of such an area in Durango, Colorado.
Oil, Panel, 6 x 8. Swan Lake is one of my favorite trails in Grand Teton National Park. You might see the rare Trumpeters, or a bear or a bald eagle. A view of the mountains is just minutes away.
Acrylic, Panel, 12 x 16. This classic red barn is prototypical for the Midwest. It stirred fond memories for the person who bought it.
Oil, Linen. Caprock Canyon State Park in Texas has a bison herd that dates back to three calves being rescued when these majestic beasts almost went extinct.
Watercolor, Paper, 9 x 12. This little scene was painted mostly "plein air" on the sand at Galveston Beach State Park in Texas. I sold it early in the day at an outdoor market to a buyer who recognized the view.
